Marvel has kept fans in the dark in regards to the fate of Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk since she was involved in a major throwdown with Thanos back in Civil War II #1, but in issue #4, that issue is finally addressed.

Spoilers for the series are incoming, so be forewarned.
The Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez helmed series doesn’t wait too long to get to the reveal either, with Carol notified on page 1 that She-Hulk is finally awake. She’s sporting a few bruises, and has been out of commission for awhile now, but thankfully she came out of things okay.
Unfortunately, while she was recovering Civil War II #3 happened, and well, you know what happened there. In that issue, an agitated Bruce Banner is silenced before he can do anything thanks to Hawkeye, who put an arrow directly in his head based on an understanding between him and Bruce, though no one else was there for that meeting, and no official record of it exists.
She-Hulk hasn’t even had a chance to get out of bed and yet she’s given two huge pieces of bad news. Not only has her cousin been murdered by one of their own, but it was one of her best friends Carol going off of the word of Inhuman Ulysses that got them all there in the first place. Oh, and not to mention that her cousin’s killer, Hawkeye, is getting off scot free.
Yeah, it’s been a bad day. More than likely, once She-Hulk gets ahold of Hawkeye, his day is going to be even worse.
Civil War II #5 releases on August 17th.
