Spider-Man: Homecoming managed to surprise a few folks with their MJ reveal, but it will be a bit before they expand on the beloved character.

Fans are anxious to find out more about this version of the character, but Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige revealed to IGN that it, unfortunately, is a ways away.
“After this 22 movie saga, after untitled Avengers in May ’19, it does seem like you want to get back to ground level, reassess, and who better to do that with than Peter Parker.”
You might assume then that some characters, like MJ and Aunt May, would figure into Avengers: Infinity War as a stop gap, but Feige put that on ice as well. When asked how long fans have to wait for more on those, Feige said: “I think it might be a few years.”
At least fans have films like Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther to keep their minds occupied while they wait.
Spider-Man: Homecoming currently enjoys an 86.73 on ComicBook.com’s composite rankings. You can submit your vote here.
