After debuting during Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker will now be the focus of his own film as he goes head to head against the Vulture while being mentored by Iron Man.
But Spidey’s relationship with tech mogul Tony Stark won’t be all peaches and cream as we’ve seen from a few scenes in the trailers. Though Stark gifts Parker with a high tech suit before the superhero battle in Civil War, he then takes it back after a skirmish with the Vulture endangers the public.
A new TV spot called “Iron Man vs. Peter” shows Spider-Man and Iron Man having a bit of a spat, revealing that Parker himself has some harsh words for his idol as well. It’s another look at a scene we’ve glimpsed before, but while the trailer showed Stark chastising a remorseful Spider-Man, here we get to see the Wallcrawler let Iron Man have it.
