Marvel artist Patrick Brown posted a new piece of Spider-Man art to his social media pages, and it featured the web-slinging hero on the run, with many of the Rogue Gallery members in tow. The Rhino, Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Vulture, and Lizard are all featured in the image.
Many thought that this could just be art for a Marvel comic, but Brown confirmed that it’s actually work on the upcoming Spider-Man series on Disney XD. The artist responded to a commenter on his DeviantArt page, saying it was definitely for the new show.
Brown also shared this message with the new image:
“Here’s some more of my Marvel work, I have so much fun on Spider-man, especially being a hardcore Spidey fan since I was a kid. These characters were all created separately but now that I’m allowed to share them I decided to put them into a scene and make a full piece. I hope you like it!”
The new Spider-Man series is supposed to be released on Disney XD sometime later this year. Until then, Spidey will next be seen in the summer blockbuster from Marvel Studios, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
