This weekend, Lee appeared at Wizard World Nashville to host panel, and the writer took to the stage with his manager Max Anderson. It was there where the latter took a moment to tease fans about Lee’s Thor big.

“They did it their way, and it was okay,” Anderson said, nodding to the first take of Lee’s cameo.

“Then they said, ‘Stan, what would you do?’ He did improv, and he nailed it. Everybody loved that scene,” the manager explained. “They were like, ‘This is going to be awesome.’ And all I can say is that he plays a big part in someone’s scene. It was so funny, man. I’m telling you.”

Anderson isn’t the only person who has praised Lee’s cameo in the Thor sequel. Chris Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi have corroborated the claims as well. The pair sent a video message to Lee last month for his imprint ceremony at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theater. Each wished Lee well on the special occasion, and they plugged the writer’s comedic acting.

“We’re here shooting [Ragnarok],” Hemsworth said. “In which you did a cameo today, which is your best one yet, I think.”

Waititi also chimed in, saying, “[I] met you the other day. You came in and… your cameo is one of the funniest things in the film.”

There’s no telling how Lee will fit into the Thor sequel, but the legend won’t stop his cameo game there. Anderson revealed Lee has already filmed cameos for other films like Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and the next two Avengers films to boot.
