The Internet is currently buzzing about the news that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Night Of star Riz Ahmed is in talks to join Sony‘s upcoming Venom solo film. While the Marvel Comics role the actor could be playing is currently unknown, the possibility of Ahmed appearing in a superhero film is drawing a passionate response from many online.
Some are applauding the actor – who is considered by many to be ‘The Internet’s Boyfriend’ – for joining such a high-profile franchise, while others are loving the possibility of seeing Ahmed share the screen with the film’s Eddie Brock, Tom Hardy.
