Channing Tatum Would Love To Do Ghostbusters

He might not have much good to say about G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, but Channing Tatum would love to do Ghostbusters.
That's according to a new interview with Howard Stern that
"That thing's gotten messy, I've got to be honest," Tatum told the aging shock jock. "There's a lot of people doing a lot of things on Ghostbusters."
Acknowledging that the project is controversial, Tatum -- who is one of a number of actors rumored to be involved in a male-led Ghostbusters film that could run parallel to Paul Feige's famale-led film -- said that the project remains very much up in the air, at least as compared to the Feig film, which started production this week.
"Look, I would love to do it," he said. "Like I said, there's a lot of people in the pool right now, the Ghostbusters pool. I think we're in a gestation period right now."
You can hear a clip from the interview below.
