John Wick: Chapter 2 Viral Site Launches For Continental Hotel's In-House Magazine

Lionsgate has launced Continental Quarterly, a new viral site for John Wick Chapter 2 that mocks up GQ magazine, essentially if it were written exclusively with the Continental Hotel's assassins in mind.

Right now, it's just a letter from "The Editor," likely Ian McShane's Winston, the owner of the hotel, and a handful of article titles. The "cover of the "Winter Issue" depicts wick as he appeared in the first poster for the movie, and teases that the full issue will be available online in January 2017.

This likely means fans of the first movie can keep refreshing their browsers throughout Sunday if they want to learn more about the franchise's future.

Each of the stories seems to be suggesting a potential story threat or just making an in-joke about the first movie. There's the big about dogs, of course (the first movie's roaring rampage of revenge was touched off by the murder of Wick's own dog), the thing about a "killer workout," all that.

There's also a story that seems to compare the '69 Mustang to the '70 Chevelle in the battle for backup card dominance. Since he had a Mustang in the first movie it doesn't seem unreasonable to guess John Wick will drive a Chevelle in the next one.

Keep checking back at the magazine's website and see if you can spot anything new.

The cast features Keanu Reeves, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Common, Peter Stormare, and Riccardo Scamarcio.
