Star Wars: The Force Awakens Featured On Time Magazine Cover

BB-8 and R2-D2, strike a pose for TIME magazine.
Photographer Marco Grob was given the honor of shooting the Star Wars: The Force awaken's droids for the cover of TIME magazine's latest issue. "The moment you meet BB-8, you build up some form of weird human connection," said Grob, who photographed the new Star Wars character for this week's TIME cover. "It has one eye that has this really cute way of looking at you. It's just incredible."

The film stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Lawrence Kasdan & J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in U.S. theaters on December 18.
