Halloweentown fans are more than ready to revisit the series as the big holiday draws near. The movie will be on Freeform this weekend, and that just gave a lot of the viewers an excuse to watch it again. (Funnily enough, with Disney+ existing now, you can head back to the titular town at any time.) Kimberly J. Brown and Debbie Reynolds helped get this small franchise off the ground at the tail end of the 90s and Disney took flight from there. If you ask anyone who loved Disney Channel Original Movies back then, they will list Halloweentown as one of their favorites from the early days of their existence. (It turns out a lot of the Halloween ones rank highly in the collective memory banks.) Brown wrote on Twitter, “I’m often asked what my fave scene is from the #Halloweentown movies-this is one. Debbie and I spent the day on a tall stool pretending to “fly” on the broom.She made sure my dad could get a pic of us together before we got down.Definitely a day I’ll never forget.”
