Man of Steel: A Closer Look at Zod's Emblem

Kapow Props, who are giving away rubber Superman and Zod emblems from Man of Steel as part of a YouTube contest, tweeted an image earlier today that's a closer look than any we've yet seen at General Zod's chest logo. As we've observed before, especially with rumors that Darkseid will be the villain in the expected (but troubled) Justice League movie in 2015 or so, it's interesting to note that the logo appears to feature an Omega. Certainly it's meant to be a Kryptonian sigil of some kind, like Superman's own logo, but like Superman, a sigil with an earthly meaning is just betting to be analyzed.
