Man of Steel: Jor-El Suits Up For Battle, Talks to Superman in New Ad

A new TV spot for Man of Steel debuted today, which sees Jor-El sharing screen time with Superman, telling him "You can save all of them" in the face of an onslaught of action images from General Zod. Jor-El seems to play a more vital role in the film than he ever did in previous big-screen outings; one has to wonder whether Russell Crowe is signed for more than just the one movie, or whether that's just a function of Snyder opting to retell the origin story this time around.
