The philosophies of Jor-El and General Zod come up against each other in the first Man of Steel TV spot from The Phillippines, embedded below courtesy a Man of Steel fan Facebook page. It appears here as though the Jor-El in the movie will be a bit more akin to what we saw in Smallville--an artificial intelligence imbued with something like a hard light construct that allows Superman (and, here, Zod) to interact directly with his biological father. Man of Steel is in theaters June 14.
