Marza Animation Planet and Capcom are continuing the CG Biohazard/Resident Evil saga with their newest film, titled Resident Evil: Vendetta but Leon will have another prominent co-star in the film.
The film is a collaboration between Marza and Italian Motorcycle company Ducati, and as such it will feature their new bike, the XDiavel, at various parts in the film, along with one big scene in particular where Leon is fending off someone during a chase. Leon won't be alone, though, as fan favorites Chris Redfield and Rebecca Chambers are expected to show up.
The film is being directed by Takanori Tsujimoto (Ultraman X), and Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass) is penning the script. Takashi Shimizu (Ju-on) is executive producing, and Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Resident Evil 4) will be supervising, to make sure everything flows with what fans of the series expect. Vendetta will release sometime in 2017.
