Olivia Munn (Ride Along 2, Newsroom) participated in a special question-and-answer session on Twitter today and during it she fielded a good number of questions related to her role in 20th Century Fox’s upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse.
One fan asked Munn who she thought would win in a fight between Psylocke and Wolverine. “When I was training for Psylocke, one of the things we worked on was using two blades possibly and making that an option for her in a fight scene,” she offered. “So when I have my psionic blades I actually fight a lot like Wolverine. He’s got his claws that come out, (starts swinging her arms around) so there’s a lot fighting like that because the psionic blades are part of my arms. So we would have a similar fighting style, so it would be a pretty even match I think, but: Psylocke.”

She also discussed all the training she went through to prepare for an extensive action scene and why she chose not to use an English accent for Psylocke.

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto, to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven with the help of Professor X must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016.
