Pokemon Vinyl

The sweet, sweet 8-bit sounds of the classic 1996 Pokemon Red and Blue are coming to vinyl records.

Every track from the games will be featured on the vinyl press from Moonshake Records. The albun's artwork calls back to The Beatle's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, featuring Charmander, Bulbasaur, Pikachu, and Squirtle at the forefront, the rest of the Pokemon behind them, and some other Nintendo characters by their sides.

The $49.95 album isn't available just yet but you can, however, request a notification for when it comes in stock. Moonshake is only releasing 500 copies of the album so being ready to purchase on a moment's notice is your best bet.

2016 marks the 20th birthday of Pokemon. To celebrate the milestone, Nintendo is releasing a 3DS bundle with Red and Blue pre-installed. What better way to play than with your new record jamming in the background?
