Ryan Coogler Excited About Directing Black Panther

Creed director Ryan Coogler was only just announced as officially directing Marvel's Black Panther movie, but he's already expressing how excited he is about the project.

"I'm excited. I grew very into pop culture, very into comic books, so it's something that is just as personal to me as the last couple of films I was able to make," Coogler told HeyUGuys. "I feel really fortunate to be able to work on something I'm this passionate about again."

According to Coogler, work on the film is beginning very soon. Coogler will be directing Chadwick Boseman in the title role. Boseman will make his first appearance as the character in Captain America: Civil War.
