We have less than a month left until the Star Wars franchise returns to theaters with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
With the trailers released, and the images we've seen, we have about as much information as we expect to have about the film before it arrives in theaters.
With all that knowledge at hand, here are five things we want to see in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Kylo Ren v. Finn
Kylo Ren has a red lightsaber. Finn has a blue lightsaber. Anyone who has a seen a Star Wars movie should know how this works.
The trailer has already teased this fight, but it seems to take place early in the movie, when Finn is still on the run.
We hope we get a chance to see Finn, after he's had some time to get the hang of wielding the weapon, but on a real show against the franchise's new bad guy.
Rey as a strong (with the Force) lead character
We have absolute confidence in John Boyega's ability to carry the franchise as Finn, but the galaxy is big enough for leads, and Daisy Ridley deserves to be one as well.
Rey is already a character that has captured a lot of attention, thanks to her brilliant costume design and sense of adventure she seems to exude in the trailers.
In addition, we're hoping that Rey proves to be Force sensitive, perhaps even wielding a lightsaber. It's about time that we saw a woman that is as powerful of a Jedi as Ahsoka Tano on the big screen.
Captain Phasma as a true threat
Star Wars has created some of the most iconic villains in pop culture history, and we're hoping that Captain Phasma joins those ranks
Played by Gwendoline Christie, Phasma is the chromed out leader of the First Order Stormtroopers. Christie has already said that Phasma's role in the film is limited, but it didn't take much screen time for Boba Fett to become a fan favorite.
We've got a great female hero in Rey, now let's have a great female villain to match.
Luke Skywalkers full potential
Luke's role in The Force Awakens has been kept under wraps, which only makes us even more excited to finally see what's in store.
The original Star Wars trilogy followed Luke as he struggled to learn the ways of the Jedi during a time when they were all but extinct. Even by the end of Return of the Jedi, there was still the sense that Luke had much to learn.
We're hoping that, after 30 years of training, we see Luke at the height of his power in The Force Awakens. The son of the "the chosen one" should be something to behold.
A meaningful, heroic death
As the story goes, Harrison Ford wanted Han Solo to die in the original trilogy in order to add weight to the Rebel cause.
While we're happy to see Ford returning in The Force Awakens, we think he had a point. While certainly many lives have been lost in the fight against tyranny in the galaxy, those lives have been almost entirely statistics.
It doesn't have to be Han, but someone should probably make the ultimate sacrifice in The Force Awakens. Fans need to be reminded that be
