With a trailer at D23, Captain America: Civil War was on everybody's mind this weekend.
Including Spider-Man actor Tom Holland's, apparently, as ComicBook.com has learned that he's reported to the set in Germany.
It was generally assumed that Holland would play only a small role in the film and that his brief time shooting with the film in Atlanta would represent the whole of his contribution. Instead, it seems there may be somewhat more Spider-Man in the film than previously expected -- which of course makes a bit of sense when you consider that there are rumors he'll wear two different costumes over the course of the story.
Recent set photos have included Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan and more, indicating that whatever they're filming in Germany is an all-hands-on-deck situation: possibly the film's climactic battle. At this point, it's expected that Civil War only has a few more weeks of principal photography.
Tom Holland's Spider-Man/Peter Parker will make a cameo in Captain America: Civil War, which will arrive on May 6, 2016. He'll then star in the Jon Watts-directed solo Spider-Man movie to be released on July 28, 2017.
