Syfy has released a preview of 12 Monkeys, its upcoming series based on the cult-hit movie starring Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis.
Based on the 1995 film directed by Terry Gilliam, 12 Monkeys follows the journey of a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future who is on a mission to eradicate the source of a deadly plague.
Below, you can check out the first nine minutes of the series pilot, which is set to air later this month on the cable network.
12 Monkeys debuts on January 16.
The series will air on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Syfy.
