The Outstanding Comic Book Nominees for this year's GLAAD Media Awards have been announced, with Marvel, Boom!, and Image Comics up for the prestigious accolade.

This year's nominees, which only recognizes the title and its writer, include Matt Fraction's Hawkeye, Brian K. Vaughn's Saga, James Tynion IV's Memetic, Kurtis J. Wiebe's Rat Queens, and Nolelle Stevenson's & Grace Ellis' Lumberjanes.

The GLAAD Awards, presented by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, recognize the media's best representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives. Nominees are selected by more than 700 GLAAD voters and volunteers, and are selected based on four criteria: "Fair, Accurate and Inclusive Representations," "Boldness and Originality," "Cultural Impact," and "Overall Quality."

The winner will be selected on March 21 at the 26th annual GLAAD Media Awards on March 21st.
