Marvel has unveiled a new behind-the-scenes video for tonight's premiere of Agent Carter.
The video, which features executive producers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas and series' cast, establishes the world of Agent Carter and its titular character. The show begins in the year 1946, just after WWII has ended and the world presumes that Captain America has died. With HYDRA defeated, Peggy Carter will find herself back in the United States, but stuck in a dead end-job with the SSR.
The clerical work is a far cry from Agent Carter's adventures with Captain America and The Howling Commandos, leading her to seek a more fulfilling career--As a secret agent for Howard Stark. With her sense of purpose re-established, Agent Carter sets off on a series clandestine missions with Stark and his butler, Jarvis.
"She jumps at the opportunity because she wants to feel useful," Butters said in the video. "She knows she's good at what she does."
