Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Cast Talks Shocking Twist In Turn, Turn, Turn Episode

Marvel Studios has released a video showing the cast of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. reacting to the numerous twists and turns from last night's episode, "Turn, Turn, Turn." "As a fanboy I was freaking out!" said Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Phil Coulson. "Everything that Phil Coulson has dedicated his life to turns out to be rotten to the core." "Our world is shattered," said Ming-Na Wen, who plays Agent Melinda May. "Where do you pick up the pieces from?" The cast reacted, generally, to the changed landscape of the show's universe following the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but also, specifically, to the betrayal by one of their own, which can apparently spill out into the feelings of the actors who play these characters. "I've experienced a lot of different reactions from it," said Brett Dalton, who plays Agent Grant Ward. "It gets to a personal level. It's hard for me not to feel like I betrayed them, and they feel betrayed on a personal level." An encore presentation of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, "Turn, Turn, Turn," will air Tuesday, April 15 on ABC as part of a two-part Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. event, followed by a new episode titled "Providence." Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesday nights on ABC.
