On last night’s edition of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the newly-minted host squared off in a first-of-its-kind (and almost certainly not last, based on the audience response) lip-sync battle with Paul Rudd, star of Anchorman 2 and the upcoming Marvel Studios superhero film Ant-Man.The rules were simple: two songs, dueling performances, no actual singing.Rudd ended up performing “Better Be Good to Me” by Tina Turner and Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” (as seen in Shaun of the Dead, a film directed by Ant-Man‘s Edgar Wright), while Fallon did “Juke Box Hero” in the first round, then surrendered after seeing Rudd’s Freddie Mercury.”I concede! I concede!” Fallon joked, holding Rudd’s arm in the air. “The champ!”Check out the video (and the “Don’t Stop Me Now” video from Shaun of the Dead, just for kicks) below.
