Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron is in the rearview mirror, the next film that Marvel Zombies have to look forward to is Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang.

The Avengers are a tough act to follow, especially when you're a new character only just being introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Still, we have high hopes for the film.

Here's what we want to see in Ant-Man.

A villain with staying power

It's been noted that the Marvel movies seem to have a villain problem. With the exception of Loki, all of the Marvel villains have been pretty forgettable and are usually dead by the end of their first movie. Let's start changing that with Yellowjacket. All I'm asking is that he lives to plot another day. That's not too hard, right?

Embiggening

Fans of the comics will know that Pym Particles do more than just shrink things, they can also grow them. We're hoping for some giant ants, or maybe even Ant-Man getting his Giant-Man or Goliath on.

Creative Uses of Ant-Man's Powers

On a related notes, creative uses for Ant-Man's powers should really be the crux of this whole film. The shrinking and then growing to punch someone trick is neat, but we hope to see some more fun, creative, and memorable uses of size manipulation.

The Wasp

Janet Van Dyne is absent from the film, but Hope is in it. Maybe we won't see the Wasp properly suited up in the film, but a nice tease that Hope is headed in that direction would certainly be welcome.

And hey, if Marvel wants to hint that Cassie might become Stature one day, we'd be okay with that too.

Avengers

It's an Avengers world. Ant-Man has the unenviable position of bridging the gap between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, which is essentially Avengers 3. It may only be in the post-credits scene, but we hope to see some other Avengers show up to make Ant-Man feel like it has a natural and important spot to fill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
