Streets of Fire

The CW have released a dozen new photos from next week's episode of Arrow, titled "Streets of Fire." The episode -- and the finale, for that matter -- picks up more or less in real time following the events of "City of Blood," in which Deathstroke, Ravager and Brother Blood are preparing to demolish the city and kill Team Arrow with a Mirakuru-fueled army of escaped convicts. With Sara gone and Laurel in the field with Oliver, Diggle and Felicity, the stakes are pretty high; basically half the team is untrained and untested -- and we know that Slade wants to kill one more person (who will be taken hostage in the finale). The second-to-last episode of the show's second season, "Streets of Fire" carries on a unique tradition from last year, taking its title from one of the tracks on the Bruce Springsteen record Darkness on the Edge of Town. Last year's penultimate episode was titled "Darkness on the Edge of Town." ComicBook.com has already put in a recommendation the next year's be called "Candy's Room," but the producers have seemingly ignored it. You can check out the rest of the photos, as well as the official teaser text for the episode, below. MALCOLM MERLYN RETURNS — Oliver (Stephen Amell) rallies his team as Slade's (Manu Bennett) soldiers attack the city. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) gets a call from S.T.A.R. Labs with game-changing news and Thea (Willa Holland) comes face-to-face with her father – Malcolm Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman). Nick Copus directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Ben Sokolowski.
