The next Assassin's Creed game will be a 2.5D adventure game. In the Chronicles side-scrolling series, more assassins in more time periods and countries are being explored. After 2015's China, two more chapters will come in the next two months, starting with India on January 12, 2016. A new "Gameplay Overview" trailer was released by Ubisoft today to show players what they can expect.
Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India features Arbaaz Mir in 19th century India, when the British Empire ruled over much of the developing world. There are new gadgets and weapons, and a mixture of stealth and action gameplay.
The new Trident Hidden Blade will surely be a favorite of amateur weapon makers and cosplayers, too.
