Quantum and Woody co-creator Christopher Priest is returning to DC Comics.
Priest, one of the best-known and best-selling American comic book creators of color, will write Deathstroke for DC Comics starting in August.
The writer's last DC work was on a series of one-shots and short stories featuring Batman and Wonder Woman in 2000.
Priest's Deathstroke will ship twice monthly and feature art by Carlo Pagulayan, Igor Vitorino, and Felipe Watanabe.
Calling it "really smart, really great, and really different," DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns said that the company is pleased to have Priest on board.
