Doctor Who and Marvel's Jessica Jones veteranDavid Tennant will provide the voice of Scrooge McDuck in the upcoming Disney XD reboot of '80s animated hit DuckTales.
The actor will be joined by Community and Powerless actor Danny Pudi (himself a Marvel Cinematic Universe veteran, with a Captain America cameo appearance under his belt), who will voice Huey in the series.
Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan will star as Dewey and Louie, respectively; Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack; Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley; and Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack.
The cast was revealed in a newly-released video, seen above, in which they performs an a capella version of the classic DuckTales theme from 1987.
DuckTales followed Donald Duck's rich tycoon uncle, Scrooge McDuck, on adventures and treasure hunts across the globe. Aiding Scrooge was dopey pilot Launchpad McQuack, and Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Webbigail Vanderquack, the daughter of Scrooge's maid, was added along the way and will be a series regular in the rebooted version. Based on teaser art (seen below), it seems likely Donald Duck will be a more significant presence in the new version of DuckTales than he was in the original.

It's not yet clear which other players from the previous DuckTales incarnation will pop up, but it's likely a safe bet we'll see characters like Flintheart Glomgold, Gyro Gearloose, Duckworth, Magica DeSpell, Gladstone Gander, and Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys popping up as the show progresses.
DuckTales will premiere in the summer of 2017 on Disney XD.
