Just a week or two ago, ComicBook.com named DC Comics’s Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. as the best book of 2011 in our Top 10 list. This week, apparently DC has noticed some of the book’s good ink because over at their blog The Source, they’re following up on yesterday’s release of a couple of exciting Superman covers with a look at Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #8, coming in April.This month’s #4 may have provided some closure on the first arc and the nature of the Monster Planet which was terrorizing Earth at the start of the New 52, but if the cover to #8 is any indication, writer Jeff Lemire has no plans to abandon the cool, creepy marriage of the scientific and the spiritual in this book anytime soon.
