Even with Gotham debuting on Fox last night and Supergirl officially bought to series at CBS, DC's All Access webseries focused primarily on comic books today, with Dan Jurgens and Cullen Bunn stopping by to talk about Booster Gold and Sinestro.

Booster's story, out tomorrow, will reportedly be the most important Futures End title of the month, key to the future of the DC Universe. Jurgens also confirmed that the Tiger-Men seen on the cover of the issue will play a big role...interesting, since they come from the post-apocalyptic future of Kamandi.

One of those tigers is royalty. If you'll note the color scheme and the silver headband, that's Prince Tuftan behind Booster's left side. Tuftan, who first appeared in Kamandi #4, was the prince of Roam, capital city of the Wildlands. He was the son of Great Caesar and the betrothed of Lady Tawna. In the pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths stories of Earth-AD, Tuftan often found himself torn between his royal station and his friendship with the "talking animal" Kamandi, with whom he would go on adventures.

The show also looks briefly at Gotham, confirming that Montoya's partner in the show is indeed Crispus Allen (they called him "Allen," and given his physical appearance that was pretty obvious -- but hey, a confirmation is always good) and noting that Sarah Essen, Gordon's supervisor in the pilot, is actually his second wife (and someone with whom a younger Gordon had an affair on his pregnant wife).

They also confirmed the synopsis already given for Supergirl, which several news outlets had attributed to IGN. It was, therefore, not clear whether that was official text from Warner Bros. or just conjecture. Still, here it is, and the hosts above read it word-for-word:

Based on the characters from DC Comics, Supergirl will follow Kara Zor-El. Born on the planet Krypton, Kara escaped amid its destruction years ago. And since arriving on Earth, she's been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
