Stoic and Versus Evil have released the launch trailer for The Banner Saga 2, the sequel to their 2014 Kickstarter success story.

Set in a Viking-themed world, The Banner Saga is a brutal mix of tactics style strategy combat, Oregon Trailer style survival, and the hardest decisions you've ever had to make, some of which could peremantnly kill of members of the cast.

The Banner Saga 2 continues the story of the first game, picking up just after its predecessor's potentially tragic ending, as men and Varl continue to struggle against the Dredge.

The Banner Saga 2 releases on PC on April 19, with console versions following in the summer.
