DC Comics is reinventing the Batman family in a big way in the coming weeks and months, with titles like Gotham Academy and Arkham Manor adding to a revamped Batgirl to make Gotham, DC Comics's biggest-selling city, into a marquee location for genre diversity.

That movement arguably started in earnest with Grayson, which launched in July by veteran comics writer Tim Seeley, spy novelist Tom King and artist Mikel Janin. It took the original Boy Wonder and reinvented him as a man of mystery, as Dick Grayson faked his death following the events of Forever Evil to go to work for Spyral, one of DC's most secretive intelligence organizations.

The full episode of DC All Access goes live at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST on Tuesdays at the DC Entertainment YouTube Channel.

DC have provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive clip from the interview with Seeley and King, which you can see below. In this conversation, they focus on the Five Years Later future presented by this month's Grayson: Futures End #1 and the nature of Grayson's relationship with his coworker Helena Bertinelli, who used to be the anti-hero The Huntress in another time and place (before DC's 2011 relaunch).

Check it out and find out what makes the creator of Hack/Slash and Revival remark, "As soon as I said that, I wished I hadn't said it."

Grayson: Futures End #1 is on sale at ComiXology now and, if you're lucky, at your local comic shop with one of those fancy lenticular covers. Grayson #3 will be in stores on October 1.
