A new trailer for For Honor was released, showing the game's story for the first time. Ubisoft aired the trailer at their press conference at E3 2016 Monday.

The new trailer showed a massive earthquake destroying a medieval village. "It came without warning. Doom came to us all." a lone soldier walks through muck, finds a puddle of water and goes to drink in it. He's a viking. A samurai and a knight come to the same puddle, circling each other, then starting to fight. The fight increases with more and more characters added to the map, and now it's all out war. After a massive battle and lots of death, an archer shoots one of them. "I bring war" says a female voice. This is For Honor.

You'll join one of the three factions, the Knight, Samurai, or Viking, and fight for your people. The Viking story was teased through a live gameplay demo at the event, as well, which you can see above.

For Honor releases February 14, 2017. An alpha test can be registered for now at ForHonor.Ubisoft.com.
