Josh Brolin is an American actor, who has acted in film, theater, and television.

Brolin has appeared in five different films based on comic books. While he's had very little screen time so far, Brolin's biggest comic book movie role will likely be playing Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brolin first appeared as Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy for just a brief scene, but he is expected to play a major role in Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Part II.

Brolin also played the title role in the 2010 film Jonah Hex, which was based on the DC Comics western series. Other comic book movie roles include playing Dwight in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Joe Doucett in Oldboy, and Young Agent K in Men In Black 3.

Outside of comic book movies, other notable films that Brolin has appeared in include The Goonies, Hollow Man, Grindhouse, No Country For Old Men, Planet Terror, Milk, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, True Grit, Gangster Squad, and Inherent Vice.
