Hercules Trailer #2 Officially Released

The second full length trailer for Hercules, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, has been released online. The trailer gives us a better sense of the film's plot. Breaking with the traditional Hercules myth, the gods kill Hercules' family (rather than Hercules himself, in a drunken rage). Later, Hercules is called upon to defend humanity from these same gods, giving him an opportunity to exact his revenge. Hercules is based on the Radical Comics graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars and stars Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt. Brett Rattner (X-Men: The Last Stand) directs from a screenplay written by Ryan Condal and Evan Spiliotopoulos. Hercules comes to theaters July 25.
