Jaimie Alexander To Judge Marvel Themed Episode Of Project Runway: Under The Gunn

Contestants on Lifetime's Project Runway: Under the Gunn will be challenged, by host Tim Gunn, to design looks inspired by Marvel Comics characters in a special, Marvel-themed episode. Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Falcon, Hawkeye and the Guardians of the Galaxy are among the Marvel characters that will serve as inspiration for the Under the Gunn contestants. Cort Lane, Marvel's VP of Animation Development and Production, will be a guest mentor for the episode. When asked why the Marvel Universe is a perfect inspiration for fashion Lane said, "Our characters are dramatic, visually exciting and rich with story – and isn't high fashion all of those things? I got to spend so much time explaining the Marvel characters to the designers – each one of them found something really relatable and inspiring about a Marvel hero." The episode will also feature Jaimie Alexander, Thor's Lady Sif, as a special guest judge. The Marvel-themed episode of Project Runway: Under the Gunn will air Thursday, April 3rd at 9 PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
