Over at USA Today, they've got a new look at the live-action Jem and the Holograms, as they'll appear in the upcoming feature film based on the popular '80s cartoon.
The gallery of images centers on the animation and toy icons, providing them with an updated backstory for the "YouTube generation."
"It's actually about a group of young people who are going to be inundated with this idea of fame and fortune and products and stuff, and within all that, how do you stay true to who you really are?" said director Jon M. Chu. "That's the real soul of the movie."

Jem and the Holograms will be in theaters this October.
