Singer Josh Groban will guest star on The Muppets as Miss Piggy's new boyfriend, Entertainment Tonight reveals.
Groban will play himself. He was set up with Miss Piggy by Piggy's ex, Kermit the Frog.
"Piggy is in a foul mood," Showrunner Bill Prady explains. "So her ex-boyfriend, Kermit, decides that the best way to calm everything down is to essentially fix Piggy up with somebody, and he does it by going to that list they had when they were a couple -- the free pass list."
If you're interested in who is on Kermit's free pass list, Prady teased that one of his crushes will show up later in the season. In the meantime, he's seeing Denise, a younger pig.
Groban also played a prisoner in 2014's Muppets Most Wanted.
The Muppets debuts Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
