Legally Blonde Director to Helm Barbarella

The reboot of 'Barbarella' seemed dead after Robert Rodriguez turned down the directing job last month. But now the film seems to be back on. According to EW, Robert Luketic is working to bring the movie to another studio. Luketic previously has directed films such as 'Monster-In-Law' and 'Legally Blonde.' Says an EW source:

"It will be a big intergalactic adventure with a sexy twist."

No word on other details, including casting. We're guessing that someone HUGE will have to fill the title role to make this thing worthwhile.
