While Taken 3 has been billed as the final movie in the series, star Liam Neeson says there's always a possibility he may do a fourth film.

"There's always… I think if audiences go and see it and they like these characters," he said while speaking with Fox News. "I mean, I'd love to do something with Forest [Whitaker] again, and if it's in a Taken 4 scenario… great."

The latest installment of Taken earned the number one spot at the box office this weekend with $40.4 million. This is the second-best January opening of all time.

In the film, Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his "particular set of skills," to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now – his daughter.

In addition to Neeson and Whitaker, the film also stars Frank Dotzler, Sam Spruell, Dougray Scott and Famke Janssen.
