When Norman Reedus hijacked the official AMC's The Walking Dead instagram over 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, he posted some new photos of his character Daryl Dixon with his trusty crossbow. The photos almost look like they could be from a scene in Season 4 of The Walking Dead, but they are not.
They are actually photos of a super-realistic 10"deluxe action figure of Daryl Dixon created by McFarlane Toys. Comicbook.com reported on the 10" Daryl Dixon action figure back when it was first announced in June. However, the production picture we had at the time really didn't do the figure justice. However, these new photos reveal that McFarlane Toys has really outdone themselves with this figure. Hopefully, the Daryl Dixon figure will be the beginning of an entire 10" Walking Dead TV show figure line.
McFarlane Toys actually did a full 3D scan of Norman Reedus to create the exact likeness of the actor, and their attention to detail shows through in the final figure. The 10-inch Daryl figure is portrayed in his iconic angel stitched biker vest and includes removable poncho, hunting knife, and crossbow.
The 10-inch Daryl Dixon deluxe figure is set to be released in stores in November 2013 with a suggested retail price of $34.99.
