One Man Rules The Mushroom Kingdom With A Crocheted Super Mario Bros 3 Map

After six years of working on it on and off, Norweigan skydiver and computer programmer Kjetil Nordin has completed an elaborate crocheted rug depicting the World 1 map from Super Mario Bros. 3.

Nordin spent over 800-hours on the rug, including researching the exact yarn colors needed to perfectly replicate the look of the map (as seen in Super Mario All-Stars).
