Pete's Dragon Logo And Plot Details Revealed

From the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., Walt Disney Studios has released the official logo for the Pete's Dragon reboot.

Some plot details were also release that make the film sound quite different from the 1977 musical. Bryce Dallas Howard will play a park ranger, and in this version Pete is a feral child kept alive by his dragon. The dragon itself is furry and much more comparable to the dragons of Game of Thrones or The Hobbit than to the whimiscal animated dragon of the original.

Pete's Dragon is directed by David Lowery, and stars Oakes Fegley, Oona Laurence, Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard, Wes Bentley and Karl Urban.
