Ryan Reynolds Not Aware Of X-Force Movie Or X-Force At All For That Matter

Who would have thought that days before 2013 San Diego Comic-Con kicks off the most exciting comic book movie news around would be the recent revelation that 20th Century Fox is planning to make an X-Force movie? Jeff Wadlow has been hired to write and possible even direct the X-Force movie. While all the teams members that will be featured in the X-Force movie have not been confirmed, X-Force creator Rob Liefeld indicated that both Cable and Deadpool would be included. With Deadpool part of X-Force, the next question is whether Ryan Reynolds will return to play Deadpool again, like he did in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Well, MTV asked Mr. Reynolds that very question, and he gave a rather surprising answer. Ryan Reynolds said, "If I knew what X-Force was, I would. It sounds a little bit like a 1985 Chuck Norris vehicle. Oh, that's Delta Force, that is Delta Force. I don't know what X-Force is, but that sounds great." Since it's likely early in the planning process for the X-Force movie, it's not that surprising that 20th Century Fox probably hasn't started casting yet. However, since Ryan Reynolds has played Deadpool before and has been facing questions about a Deadpool standalone movie for years, it's surprising that he hasn't heard about X-Force before now.
