Sinister Six Movie Will Be Directed By Drew Goddard

The Spider-Man spinoff Sinister Six movie is very close to having a director. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Drew Goddard is close to signing a deal to direct Sinister Six, which he is also writing. Drew Goddard previously directed The Cabin In The Woods, which he co-wrote with Joss Whedon. Goddard is also a writer and producer on the upcoming Daredevil TV pilot. In addition to Sinister Six, Sony is also working on another Spider-Man spinoff based on the black-costumed villain Venom. Venom is being directed by Alex Kurtzman. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be the next movie in the Spider-Man franchise to be released, and it is set to hit movie theaters in the U.S. on May 2, 2014.
