For a show that hasn't had a new episode in 17 years, Spider-Man: The Animated Series is getting a lot of love this month.

John Semper Jr., the producer and head writer of Spider-Man: The Animated Series, has launched a podcast taking fans behind the scenes of the popular Fox Kids cartoon. Semper promises interviews with key cast members, as well as artists, writers, and other "creative personnel" associated with the show. Fans can ask Semper all of their production questions on his Facebook page, which he will then address on the podcast.

Temper has released two episodes so far. In the first episode, he interviews Nick Jameson, the voice actor for Morbius, the Living Vampire. In the second episode, Semper reminisces of San Diego Comic Con 1994, when he, along with Stan Lee, and series' primary cast and crew, revealed the show's first clip.

The podcast releases in tandem with other big Spider-Man: The Animated Series news this week. During Stan Lee's Comikaze convention this past weekend, the series' voice cast and crew, Semper included, reunited for a 20th anniversary panel discussion. There, they revealed that they would reunite for a new animated project called Rocket Men. Boasting old-school, pulp-action stories, Semper said that he and cast hope to crowdfund the project.
