Star Trek Beyond Casts Lydia Wilson

Lydia Wilson has joined the cast of Star Trek Beyond, Variety reports. Wilson is known for roles in the romantic comedy About Time, and in BBC shows Ripper Street and Charles the Third.

Joe Taslim and Sofia Boutella have also joined the film's cast. The roles for all three new cast members are being kept secret for now.

Star Trek Beyond will be the third film in Paramount's rebooted Star Trek film franchise. Beyond is directed by Justin Lin, from from a script by Simon Pegg and Doug Jones. The film features returning stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, and Anton Yelchin. Idris Elba will play the villain.
