Marvel has released a fully-lettered preview for Star Wars #1, which is set to hit comic shops and digital devices next Wednesday.

From the creative team of Jason Aaron, John Cassaday, and Laura Martin, Star Wars #1 picks up directly after the events of Star Wars: A New Hope. The in-continuity series will follow Luke, Leia, and Han Solo as they plan their next attack against the Empire following the Death Star’s destruction.ย The series will be Marvel’s first all-original Star Wars comic in almost thirty years. The publisher picked up the franchises comic book rights from Dark Horse last year, and will follow Star Wars with a Darth Vader ongoing and a Princess Leia miniseries.ย
