JoBlo, who had a big day in movie rumors yesterday, claim that they've got the inside track on Disney's Star Wars plans post-Episode VII, and that (among other things) the first two spinoff films starring in-universe characters will center around bounty hunter Boba Fett and smuggler Han Solo. According to the site, "The Solo film will focus on Han and Chewy's relationship, potentially on how they met and became partners on the Millennium Falcon. No details on the Boba Fett film, but my hope is to see his escape from the Sarlac Pit and subsequent journey afterwards." The article also claims that the rumored Yoda solo film is on ice at least temporarily due to the Lego Star Wars Yoda film being produced for Cartoon Network. One has to wonder whether Cartoon Network feels a little good about that rumor, considering that the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm led to the cancellation of their popular Star Wars Clone Wars series so that Disney could have control of the Star Wars animation franchise at Disney XD. JoBlo says that show, Star Wars: Rebels,"will feature new characters with appearances from established ones in the original trilogy and will focus on how the rebel alliance was formed to take on the Galactic Empire.  The show is expected to debut next summer."
